Last updated 14 October 2026

Podlo is a podcast player for Android and the web. It has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it doesn't sell or share your data. This page explains what data Podlo handles and why.

Without an account

You can use Podlo without signing in. Your subscriptions, listening progress, downloads and settings then stay on your device: in the app's storage on Android, or in your browser's storage for the web app. Nothing is sent to us.

Services Podlo talks to

With an account

Signing in with Google is optional and only used to sync between your devices. When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID from Google. While you're signed in, Podlo stores the following on our server so your other devices can pick it up:

This data is stored with Supabase, which hosts Podlo's database and sign-in, and is only accessible to your own account. It isn't used for anything else.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account at any time, in the Android app or the web app:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Under Account, choose Delete account and confirm.

No longer have the app? Email janssens.jochem@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, and your account is deleted within 30 days.

Deleting your account immediately and permanently deletes it and everything synced to it from our server. Podcasts on the device you use stay there. Signing out instead keeps your account and synced data. Data on a device is removed by uninstalling the app or clearing the site's data in your browser.

Children

Podlo is not directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their data.

Changes and contact
